About Me

I'm glad you're here. I hope this site provides information on what to expect from working with me so that you may find a strong therapeutic fit.

Resiliency is at the core of my integrative approach to therapy . My style is collaborative and employs evidence-based modalities tailored to fit each client's strengths. I believe all people are equipped with skills, passions, and deep value no matter what they have experienced or are currently experiencing; I strive to draw from these strengths to guide our work and help clients regain a sense of mastery, meaning, and connection in their lives. Life transitions are a focus of mine, whether it be developing identity and healthy relationships as a teen, rediscovering the self as an older adult, or building a thriving partnership and family.

I come from a varied professional background with specializations in clinical psychology, independent film, and dance, which cultivated a multidisciplinary approach to working with people. I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and B.A.'s in Psychology and Cinematic Arts from University of Southern California. Other clinical experience includes providing intervention and prevention counseling to youth and families, facilitating group therapy at an adult intensive outpatient program, providing field-based clinical services at a housing and social services agency, and volunteering with a hospice provider for many years. Through these positions, I have experience working with trauma, mood and anxiety concerns, suicide prevention and intervention, teens and families, older adults, grief, and a variety of life-transition concerns. Certifications include the Prepare-Enrich premarital counseling program and The Gehart Method: Therapy that Works Fall 2021 program.
